Shark Tank investor Kevin O’Leary secured a $2.8 million default judgment against former crypto influencer Ben Armstrong, known as BitBoy Crypto. A Florida federal judge awarded $2 million in punitive damages and $750,000 for emotional distress after Armstrong publicly labeled O’Leary a "murderer" and shared his personal phone number.

The feud stemmed from a 2019 boat crash involving O’Leary’s wife, Linda, which resulted in two fatalities. Though she was acquitted in 2021, Armstrong reignited the controversy by alleging a cover-up and taunting O’Leary online. The court dismissed Armstrong’s defense citing mental health struggles and incarceration.
